The ball didn’t rise as anticipated by the batsman and hitting him on the side of his head.BCB’s chief physician, Dr Debashish Chowdhury said Shuvo was out of danger after undergoing scans at the Apollo hospital. Chowdhury added that the new helmets with safety regulations would have helped the allrounder but he wasn’t wearing one.”He is out of danger. The CT scan and MRI showed that there has been no damage to his brain. He will be kept under observation for the next 24 hours at the hospital as a precautionary measure. He is stable now, but as with any head injuries, they will observe him for at least 24 hours.”It would have helped if he was wearing the helmet with new safety regulations, but he wasn’t,” Chowdhury told ESPNCricinfo. Shuvo was rushed to a hospital after he failed to respond to one of the four tests done in these sort of situations. Following that he was rushed to a hospital 12kms from the stadium with the Victoria team staff and BCB physician, Monirul Amin.
